Dear Lions, Community Leaders and Friends
I am humbled, honored and privileged to assume the role of the President of Markham Elite Lions Club for the year 2023-2024. “Born To Serve” is much more than a motto for our club. It’s a way of life. The flavour of our club is unique in Lionism. We have been a club with strong leadership foundation. I am fortunate to have a team of such committed and dedicated lions who are ready to go an extra mile in building the club and executing different projects.
We are strong, We are diverse, We are proud, We are compassionate and most of all We are Great Lions.
Our club is committed to serve Global Causes undertaken by our district and Lions Club International. After the current pandemic that gripped the world all regular fund raising activities were curtailed. We would not be more proud of how MELC members supported community projects even in times of great stress and uncertainty.
It’s my vision to create memories full of laughter, fellowship and making better friendships while continuing along our path of serving the communities. I pledge to you all, that I will endeavor to carry on the tradition of leadership that has made this club a success.
Thanks once again for all the support. Think positive and always distance yourself from negativity. Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It only takes away today’s peace. Spread love and positive energy in every direction as a Lion for the well being of the whole humanity.
